Apr 25, 2018-Various Students unions on Wednesday staged a sit in protest outside the Department of Education demanding the private schools change their decision to take exorbitant fees during the admission.
All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), Nepal Students Union (NSU), All Nepal National Free Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNFSU-R) among others staged the protest for about one-and-a-half hours outside the education department in Bhaktapur.
ANNFSU secretary RC Lamichhane informed that the motive behind the protest was to curb the increment in school fees and to demand the return charged fee amount and to pressurise the concerned authorities to take action against those schools failing to do so.
The students unions have been protesting against the private schools for not implementing the directives issued by the Education Ministry.
